A Company Nurse, also known as an Occupational Health and Safety Officer, or Occupational Health Nurse, is a qualified nurse who is employed by a company to provide general First Aid to employees when required, assess employee health risks, and promote employee general health.

Job Description:
- Ensure compliance with safety and health labor laws, and internal policies
- Responsible for providing first aid treatment and medication in case of injuries/accidents. If needed, must accompany the patient for hospitalization
- Responsible for coordinating with the HMO provider about annual physical exams and other employee concerns
- Monitor inventory of medicine and medical supplies, and in charge of the request for replenishment
- Monitor and assist benefits claim of employees
- Coordinate employee needs and records with the company health provider
- Develop and implement health and safety programs
- Develop disease prevention programs, such as smoking cessation, exercise, and healthy eating
- Document all employee injuries and illnesses within the workplace
- Observe and assess the work environment for potential dangers and hazards
- Oversee and implement emergency and disaster preparedness programs and planning
- Counsel employees on physical and mental health issues and guide them on community resources and/or employee assistance programs
- Monitor the health status of employees
- Conduct research on the effects of hazardous work conditions or workplace exposures, which may include gathering data and reporting findings to the employer
- Other HR/Admin tasks that may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Must be a Registered Nurse and with valid license
- Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety
- BOSH or OSHA certification is a plus
- Knowledgeable in Admin/Human Resource Management
- Proficient in using MS Office software, i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
- Has strong interpersonal skills, and ability to influence and communicate with staff with different beliefs, attitudes, and personalities
- Exposure in the BPO industry is a plus
- Excellent administrative skills
- Has a strong work ethic and integrity, is flexible and goal-oriented, and has leadership/coaching skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to multitask.
- Has the ability to handle multiple competing high-priority tasks
- Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Has the ability to complete work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Willing to work in Angeles, Balibago City
